A Swifter Current: Introducing The Current Insurance Report, Issue 1

The Current Insurance Report featuring top industry thought leadership is now available. | Corporate Synergies

Welcome to our new The Current Insurance Report. For its tenth year, The Current has switched to a more focused and frequent publication schedule. It offers the same powerful business solutions to human resources and finance professionals, and by making The Current swifter and nimbler, it will be even more timely, actionable and useful to employers.

“From benefits strategy to sharing our expertise, we consistently evaluate how Corporate Synergies operates. As the industry landscape is changing more rapidly, we felt that we needed to compile resources and insights more often,” said Co-President, CEO, and publisher Andrew Bloom.

This issue focuses on how solid benefits strategy can safeguard organizations, their budgets and their employees. This includes long-term plans to prepare for tomorrow while addressing today’s needs. It also looks at designing robust plans to support employees no matter what they’re facing.

“Safety and reliability are the promises of benefits and insurance,” said Co-President, CEO, and publisher of The Current Mike Lisa. “A plan that’s available when needed and designed to fit an organization’s employees and budget fulfills that promise. That’s what excites us about the industry and motivates our work with employers.”

We also have our eyes on the Consolidated Appropriations Act, its requirements for employers and plan sponsors—and its shifting deadlines. Proper compliance is necessary to mitigate an organization’s risk, but it can be difficult and time-consuming without the right know-how.

Our design team, who also works on our employee education communications and custom client benefits guides, have created a modern and easy-to-navigate publication. Information about the latest and upcoming events and relevant resources ensure your organization stays informed.

We are dedicated to supporting employers—and their employees. The Current Insurance Report redesign is our latest effort to answer the employee benefits questions most impacting employers right now. It maintains the same thoughtful organization and essential insights from Corporate Synergies’ experts tailored to the moment.
