Heather Gartside, Marketing & Events Specialist, supports HR and finance professionals with continuing education events, thought leadership webinars and a steady stream of informative updates. The secret to Heather’s success is making each event appear effortless to the audience, despite the meticulous planning and preparation that they require.

Heather produces all of these events from beginning to end, including logistics, registration, communication, follow up, attendee support and more. With a master’s degree in event planning and an eye for detail, she’s well-equipped to pull off any production from our regular one-hour webinars to our full-day conferences and forums.

These events keep the audience informed and educated on emerging trends, best practices, innovative ideas, and other employee benefits developments and strategies. Heather’s work allows these professionals to easily learn while focusing on assisting their workforce and support their organization.

Heather also manages event accreditation. Many of Corporate Synergies’ events are certified to provide continuing education credits from both the HR Certification Institute and Society for Human Resource Management.

Heather has a passion for events, the organization and planning of them, but also what they represent: bringing people together to learn and have a good time. She loves that she gets to do this while providing the audience new insights to bring back to their organization that make their jobs a little easier.

An athlete and sports lover, Heather frequents the tennis court and bowling alley. She captained her college tennis team for three years and is a current bowling team member. Her passion for sports came together with her love of event planning in 2018 when she volunteered at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. She got to study and assist with a significant international production and witness world-class athletics.
