Thom Mangan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Corporate Synergies Group, Inc., is an 18-year veteran in the employee benefits field, possessing vast experience in corporate leadership and an extensive background that spans sales, services and operations. A recognized leader in his field, Mangan was voted as one of the top-10 most influential people in the healthcare industry by Employee Benefits News.

Prior to being named CEO of Corporate Synergies, Mangan served as President of the Employee Benefits Division at HUB International Northeast as well as the National Practice Leader/Chief Sales Officer of Employee Benefits of HUB International Limited.

Mangan is a member of the Council of Employee Benefit Executives (a division of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers), where he not only serves as a board member but also as the chairman of the Industry Affairs Committee. Additionally, he serves on the National Consultant Advisory Boards with CIGNA, Aetna and UnitedHealthcare.

Mangan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College, where he currently sits on the board of trustees, and an MBA from Troy State University. In addition, he is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business’ Insurance Executive Leadership Program. His other post-graduate programs include a Certified Managed Care Executive Designation (CMCE) from Northwestern University.
