Jersey City Medical Center Remain Partners

In our recent Informant, emailed to you on June 26, 2007, we delivered news that the relationship between Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and Jersey City Medical Center would cease. In a recent turn of events, Jersey City Medical Center has agreed to remain as a participating Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey network hospital.

HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU AS AN EMPLOYER
No service interruption for your employees!! Effective immediately, all Horizon BCBSNJ members can access Jersey City Medical Center for routine and elective services on an in-network basis.

By using in network facilities, your organizations’ benefits costs will be better controlled, and your members will spend less out-of-pocket dollars.
