A Step Towards Identity Protection

In Corporate Synergies' recent eCommunication dated April 4, 2007, we outlined for you several different areas of consideration when determining whether or not your employees’ most valuable data is being adequately protected.

Effective May 1, 2007, Independence Blue Cross (IBC) will no longer include members’ complete Social Security Numbers on paper invoices. What you can expect to see: the first five digits of the members’ Social Security Numbers will no longer appear on customer invoices.

HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU AS AN EMPLOYER
From May 1, 2007 onward, should you need to view your members’ complete Social Security numbers on their invoices, contact Corporate Synergies or you can always view that information through ibxpress.com.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?
If you have any questions about this matter please call Corporate Synergies at 1.866.CSG.1719 or click here to contact us.
