IBC announced several enhancements to ibxpress.com to give members even more information about their benefits. The convenient and secure website gives members access to health information, tools, and resources that enable them to actively participate in their health care decisions. Now the website offers new features that make it an even better resource. The enhancements include:
- Member payment responsibility. With one easy-to-read snapshot of a member’s total amount paid for processed claims. Members can view co-pays, coinsurance, and deductible amounts for the benefit or calendar year or for the lifetime of their policy.
- Detailed information under the My Claims tab. Members can view more detailed information about their benefits by clicking the My Claims tab. New fields include description of service, procedure code, and allowance.
- Search for vision providers. In addition to searching for a doctor, hospital, and pharmacy, members can now locate a vision provider on ibxpress.com. Members can search providers by Zip code, provider name, business name, city, or county.
ADDITIONAL NEW TOOLS AVAILABLE
While on ibxpress.com, members can also take advantage of many tools and resources to help them evaluate their health care choices. There, they will be able to:
- Estimate treatment costs
- View our online health encyclopedia
- Search for provider quality ratings
- Learn about a doctors medical education and board-certification
- You can perform administrative functions, including checking the status of a claim, requesting ID cards, and printing referrals
